Taking over three months to complete, Mason self-recorded, mixed, and mastered Lonesome Again in his building out beside his house. The album contains fifteen originals, all of which Mason played every instrument on except the drums.

Live On 92.9 WAME
Back in September 2023, Mason had the opportunity to perform live on 92.9 WAME out of Statesville, NC in which he performed eight of his original songs. Waking up the next morning, Mason decided to take the audio files from the station's Facebook live and make a live album.
